About the Opportunity
Drader is growing rapidly! We are currently looking for a full-time Procurement and Production Support Coordinator based in Brampton, Ontario. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will coordinate the purchase of products and materials, as well as provide support in the production of Drader's propriety line and clients' custom products orders.
Your responsibilities and developing scopes of work include, but are not limited to:
- Handling administrative responsibilities related to purchases, order tracking, purchase agreements, and product records
- Communicating with internal departments regarding work orders, production scheduling, and production delivery
- Assisting supply chain to ensure effective procurement of materials needed for production (e.g., raw materials, labels, etc.)
- Documenting and tracking production numbers into Traverse
- Reviewing and closing work orders from the production floor, including changes and other issues that may arise
- Ensuring timely product delivery to our customers
- Coordinating proper inventory counts (e.g., documenting receipt of materials, and tracking shipment schedules)
- Assisting the sales department in setting up and maintaining the showroom
- Overseeing office and site maintenance, and providing assistance to direct supervisors as required
About You
To qualify, you will need at least 2 years experience in supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, production, or related industry. Motivated candidates with the right mindset and want to start or develop their career in manufacturing, are encouraged to apply! In addition, skills, knowledge, and experience in the following are crucial to succeed in this role:
- Valid Driver's License
- Background or the quick ability to learn Traverse
- Computer proficiency (e.g., MS Office Suite)
- Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven administrative skills
- Background in plastic manufacturing (asset)
Lastly, we are looking for candidates that possess excellent organizational skills, time management, and outstanding attention to detail. The role is essential in liaising with internal departments and clients, so you must be able to effectively communicate in a confident and respective manner.
